We are now strengthening the R&D team in Warsaw, Poland with a Cloud Engineer. In this role you will work with deploying, operating, troubleshooting, and improving our cloud-based infrastructure and services. You will be part of a distributed team in close collaboration with Architects, Developers, and DevOps.

Astro WMS® is a market leading Warehouse Management System, “the brain of the warehouse”. The R&D team at Consafe Logistics develops the heart of the application that keeps more than 500 warehouses in 30 countries running, delivering goods to millions of customers. Being a software product company, we are always evolving our product to meet new requirements on the market and to leverage new technologies, to constantly help our customers to develop their business. At the same time, we need to keep the existing mission critical functionality running flawlessly 24x7x365 at the customer sites.
About the role
This is a technical, hands-on role that involves scripting, deploying, and troubleshooting cloud-based infrastructure and services. At the same time, you will be involved in improving the SaaS architecture and you need to be a good communicator and like the interaction with other internal teams and external customers.
What makes you a great candidate?
You should have experience in administering Linux and Windows environments, network infrastructure, and databases (MS SQL and/or Oracle). You have a good understanding of the Cloud concepts and familiarity with the Azure ecosystem. Ideally, you have already administered systems running in Azure, but we are open to candidates transitioning their traditional on-premise Ops skills to the Cloud.
You should have scripting skills, a professional working proficiency in English, and an interest in agile methodologies and new technologies. As a person you are efficient, communicative, flexible, and work great in a team.
We expect you to have the following experience:
- Master’s, Bachelor’s or Engineer’s degree in IT or equivalent experience
- Experience in administering Linux and Windows servers
- Experience in administering MS SQL Server and / or Oracle DB
- Good, deep understanding of IP networks, firewalls, NAT, as well as security related protocols such as TLS, HTTPs, Open ID Connect, etc.
- Strong skills with troubleshooting technology stacks and network communication
- Experience of scripting in e.g. Powershell, Bash, or Python
- Understanding of Cloud concepts
Additionally, we consider the following skills as beneficial:
- Understanding of Microsoft Azure, including Azure certifications
- General understanding of the Amazon AWS platform
- Infrastructure as Code tools, like Terraform/Ansible
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
