Consafe Logistics is a software development company. Our product, Astro WMS®, makes operations of logistics and supply chain companies smarter, more effective, and thus more sustainable. We’ve been in the business for more than 40 years, and we still love it! We are now looking for a software developer to join our R&D team.

About the role

In the role you will be working with the back-end core business logic, with a special focus on Warehouse Automation. Work will involve developing the core business functionality of Astro, supporting our customers optimizing their operational logistics processes, integrating with various kinds of warehouse automation equipment, and other systems in the warehousing echo system.

What would your daily work look like? 

Work at Consafe R&D is team based. Complex problems are solved together with your colleagues, which requires good analytical and communication skills, as well as an understanding of software development principles and architecture. Daily work includes development of new functionality, maintaining the existing product, and participating in our continuous efforts in evolving and enhancing our ways of working and our product/code base.

What makes you a great candidate?

• The development logic is mostly written in C and SQL, but also some parts in C#. Prior knowledge in C and SQL is required.
• Experience of AstroWMS® development, warehouse logistics or automation experience is valuable, as is good knowledge of Oracle and/or MS SQL Server.
• Good written and oral knowledge of English is mandatory
